Aug. 18th, 2017 11:12 pm ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: Short and slim, though obviously built; muscles are obvious. Spiky blond hair and bright blue eyes in a face that is almost too pretty to be real. Has a faint scar across his left eyebrow, though it's usually covered by his hair falling in his face. ♚ FASHION: Original Emo Kid. This is what he generally wears: a high collar sleeveless indigo shirt, black pants and boots, and black cloth covering his left leg and arm. He has a shoulder pauldron, and his chest is covered by two straps, held in place by a badge representing Fenrir. He has a pink ribbon tied around his left arm, though it is rarely visible. If forced into something more modern/less militaristic, he will be found in black pants, a dark shirt, and possibly a black jacket. ♚ DEMEANOUR: For all that he is elegant and lethal on the battle field, Cloud tends to be somewhat body shy and awkward around people, ducking into his clothes, hiding his chin behind the collar of his shirt. He's not sure what to do with his hands if he doesn't have a sword or something along those lines in them, tries to be as careful as possible when touching people, and generally tries to avoid touching people. His movements are fairly swift; he doesn't linger and tends to give off a "don't get in my way" vibe. On the battle field, it's a different story. ♚ SOUND: Cloud's voice (in Japanese). ♚ SCENT: His natural scent is reminiscent of petrichor and rain, though it's tinged with something decidedly off. Magic users or those familiar with magic might liken it to the scent left after performing a spell - he's been enhanced with Mako, which is the Planet's Lifestream. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: He's got fucked up memories, a number of which aren't even his. People have played in his mind a lot. He hears voices - his friends Zack and Aerith - and will talk to them, and thanks to the experiments scientists performed on him, is somewhat connected to the Lifestream. He has no mental shields or psychic abilities, however. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Thanks to five years in a lab with a mad scientist, Cloud is enhanced with Mako, which has made him stronger, more flexible, given him greater healing abilities, and sharpened his senses. He also fell into the Lifestream and thus has a connection to the Planet that magic users might recognize. He can use Materia (crystallized balls of Mako) and perform Summons, so he is capable of some magic ability. ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: I am happy to tag forever. Depending on how my week is going, I'll range anywhere from tagging multiple times a day to not responding for three or four days. I try to get back within four days. If something is plot-relevant, let me know, and I'll focus on that. ♚ FOURTHWALLING: I'm a bit iffy on 4th walling. It's fun in moderation and in the right situations but I prefer to leave it out in serious threads. Cloud is unlikely to respond favorably to the idea that he's fictional, although if it's framed in a way where someone knows about his exploits, that could work. (It's also unlikely to happen.) ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: I'm all for it. Cloud will freeze and, depending on who it is, back away or punch the person. If it's someone he knows/likes, he'll tolerate it after that initial moment of hesitation, but he'll rarely initiate anything like physical affection or kissing. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Cloud is a warrior, so violence is fine. I'm not great with writing fight scenes but I love the challenge. No death and I do prefer to know what the ultimate result will be for such situations, so communicating before writing a fight scene is great. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: Ships are my jam. I ship Cloud with pretty much everyone except Tifa, Barrett, and Cid (and depending on Yuffie's age, Yuffie), and love cross-canon things.
